The hands behind the hooks
Chairo's Creations is run by Chairo Mpinganjira, crocheter-in-chief, from home in Blantyre, Malawi. What started as a hobby with one hook and a ball of yarn has grown into a whole world of granny-square sweaters, lacy tops, flower hats and frilly scrunchies.
Every single piece is crocheted by hand, stitch by stitch — no machines, no mass production. That means your piece can be made in your colours and your size, and no one else on earth will have the exact same one.
